 The world has transformed from the stone-age to the modern age of AI (Artificial Intelligence), but I wonder there are few still stuck at script/dialect issue rather than doing something useful for the development of Konkani language, a global language.  Ashawadi Prakashan, Dhempe College Goa in association with DOL (Govt of Goa) organised a National Symposium on translations and transliterations in Konkani (Kannada and Nagari script) KATHADAAIZ. Dr.Jayanti Naik presided over the symposium, Dr.Purnananda Chari was the chief guest, Valley Quadros, Dinesh Manerkar, Ramesh Lad and Shailendra Mehta were resource persons. MAYANAGARI (Mumbai based shortstory collection written by Valley Quadros), published by Sanjana Pubications, and G.V.Carlo's digital book of Konkani translation of Ernest Hemingway's novella 'Mhataro ani Dorea' were released during the symposium, attended by literary students from various colleges in Goa.
